Well, I have been gone a few days and missed some “daily prompt” words. Today’s word is transformation.
When I think of transformation I think of butterflies and when I think of butterflies I think of the book Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah by Richard Bach. Why?, because of this line in the book ““What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly.”
“Illusions” has to be my favorite book of all time. It is a small book, quick read if you are simply reading it but if you take time to think about what is being said…. it can follow you forever.
So getting back to transformation. I think we are all transforming all the time, but often times it happens so gradually we don’t even notice until we look back over out life and see how things that used to be a big, huge deal, barely matter at all, and things that at one time we would have never thought of as important now are.
Every time I start thinking about the book “Illusions” I can’t help but think of this line “If your happiness depends on what somebody else does, I guess you do have a problem.”
On a side note the ping back for daily prompts seems to be broken, that or I am doing it wrong. I don’t think it is just me because I see other people in the form mentioning it too. I agree with the caterpillar to butterfly thing. I stole, borrowed the images. But yeah, I noticed without using the following page, I see no one’s else’s posts
not sure what “image” you are referring too, but yep, still looks like the prompt ping/link is still broken. Who knows if they know… who knows if it will be fixed. Maybe they will notice… maybe not. : )
You obviously have been on WordPress awhile too. I meant the image of the monarch transforming
